Auto Avia Design’s Sikorsky S76 right hand sliding door is invaluable for operations where high wind conditions present hazards for standard hinged doors, such as offshore oil platform support. The sliding door also provides access to the rear cabin area for camera work, rescue operations or loading bulky items. The door may be opened in flight.

The door is constructed in Kevlar, carbon and glass fibre reinforced composite. This design uses readily available track and carriage components, giving it a distinct cost-advantage over the OEM sliding door.

The Sikorsky S76 RH sliding door modification is approved under Transport Canada STC No. 0-LSH95-0029.

A sliding door installation for SA365 C model aircraft is also available.
