Auto Avia Design provides engineering support to numerous aerial agriculture businesses, including the Australian distributors of Air Tractor: Field Air.
We have significant experience in the design of dry-spreading, fire-fighting and spray-system installations.

Auto Avia Design has developed an STC for the M18 Dromader to permit fire-fighting operations at increased maximum take-off weight. This STC required extensive structural justification, fatigue evaluation and performance testing.

The images below show a UH-1B modified for cotton spraying. The design of this installation included flight testing to evaluate of the effects of the spray gear on aircraft performance, stability and control.
