Auto Avia Design has developed a Honeywell MKVI EGPWS installation package for DHC-6-200/300 Twin Otter aircraft (CASA STC No. ASA0047SY), this installation is recognised by Honeywell as the only EGPWS installation for the DHC-6, refer to: http://www.egpws.com/engineering_support/stc/at_stcs.htm

The installation consists of a MK VI EGPWS with internal GPS (EGPWC P/N 965-1186-0XX), with terrain display via an existing weather radar display or Bendix/King KMD 550/850 Multifunction Display. The STC includes installation of a Bendix/King KRA 405B Radio Altimeter.

Certification Options
At the client’s request, Auto Avia Design can seek Transport Canada or FAA STC approval for the EGPWS installation.
Should additional hardware options be sought, Auto Avia Design will consider amending the STC or providing local approval for the design change.

This package consists of all data required for local manufacture and installation, including:

• Manufacturing drawings
• Installation drawings
• Installation procedure
• Functional checkout procedure
• Continued airworthiness instructions
• Flight manual supplement

Alternatively, we can supply a kit containing all doublers and installation hardware items in addition to the above data package.
